From your warden:
· If you have used batteries, please leave them in the bag in the coat room to
be taken to the landfill.
· There is a box in the coat room to collect eye glasses to be given to the
Lion’s Club. Drop off your old and unwanted glasses so they can be put to good
use.

We do fun things like crafts,
dinners out, garden parties, making quilts for children in need, collecting toys
and stuffed animals at Christmas for needy children etc. etc. the list is
endless. If you have been inactive and want to join us please do. All you have
to do is show up on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the
fellowship hall. New ideas are always welcome.

The Grass is Growing and we NEED your help!
The St. Paul’s Lawn Mowing ministry is now gladly, even gleefully take
applications at this time. We have a brand new lawn mower, self propelled
and mulching so need to clean up! Can you stop by once or twice this summer
and mow the lawn of your fair church? Sign up sheet will be in the entry of
the church with dates so you can claim the best one for you. And we thank
you.

Special Summer Musical Event
Drumming Worship Workshop
Sunday, August 22nd 4 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.
Here it is, your chance to beat out the rhythm of your faith! Paula
Giroux and Melissa Moon will be leading a special afternoon filled with the
sounds of percussion, drums, triangles, tambourines and special rattles.
Bring your drum (singles only, no Trap sets please) and let’s bang on our
drums and enjoy the summer evening in an exciting and energizing way. It is
not necessary to own an instrument to attend this workshop, but it helps.
Please call the Parish Office or Paula to sign up for this; we need to know
how many are coming (instruments and people.)
We’re
searching high and low for YOU!
Do you like to meet new people? Are you friendly and outgoing? Do you love St.
Paul’s and want everyone to know what a great place it is? Then we have a golden
opportunity for you. Be a GREETER! You will be assigned a set of Sundays
to stay at the entry to the church with the ushers and just say hi to everyone
who comes in. Easy, fun, rewarding-and amazingly important to new people who
come to check us out. Please call the Parish office if you are willing to be a
part of this important work-748-8118.
Families Anonymous
Families

at St. Paul's. Families Anonymous, to quote the pamphlet, "is support group
consisting of parents, relatives and friends concerned about their loved ones
who are using and abusing mind-altering substances." Behavior problems may
be running-away, stealing or delinquency, among other things. For more

It’s School Supply Time again!

the following items:
school bags markers
notebooks
colored pencils
small scissors
And once again this year, we do NOT need pencils (even though

Endicott Family Resource Center:
Monday through Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Join the
Cornell Cooperative Extension in this wonderful opportunity to come together
with other parents and children. This program is for children from 0 to 5
years old and a parent or adult caretaker. Two separate play areas are
available, one for active play downstairs in the Fellowship Hall, and a
second room in the Nursery for more quiet play.
Contact them for special programs and visitors coming to the Center.
Archival committee
The Archival committee is
looking for pictures of church events, or groups, from 1984 to present, to put
on the history wall. If you have pictures to donate, please leave them in the
office labeled as Archives or you can contact Eunice Barton, Judy Wolf, or Barb Dailey. If you
would like them to be returned, please add your name. This is a great
opportunity to expand the wall and show more the church to visitors.
The Archival committee is also looking for wooden frames, up
to 11" x 14" for new pictures. Frames can be left in the rummage sale room and
marked for archives for future uses. We appreciate your donations.
