The Epistle is now e-vailable.
Please don’t forget to sign up to receive your monthly St. Paul’s newsletter,
The Epistle, in your very own email box.
Sign up sheets are in the entry way to
the church.
And don’t worry: if you still want the paper and postage variety, we will
continue to mail them to you in hard copy. We know some of you would prefer that
for a variety of reasons and we’re happy to provide the Epistle to you in the
“regular” way.

Prayer List Policy
The "Prayer List" is a list of people who need our prayers either because they are ill or for other reasons.
This list is published weekly in the Church Bulletin. To add someone to the list,
call the office and give your name and the name of the person you wish to add and your relationship, if desired.
Please make sure the person WANTS his or her name made public.
We will also need your phone number or e-mail address so we have a record of the request and can contact you if more information is needed.
Important:The date of your call is noted and, at the end of one month, the person is removed from the list.
At that time, you may call the office to keep the person on the list for another month.
The Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is a group of people who
pray very hard for those people who are in more critical situations, such as the day of someone's surgery or when someone experiences a crisis.
To start the chain, call the office at 748-8118. Members of the chain are Dorothy Ayers, Dottie Bachman, Mary Buffum, Barbara Dailey,
Jane Reed, Judy Shannon, Bill and Keri Smith, and Mary VanOsten. The names of people added to the chain are not published. Typically, prayers are said
for anywhere from a few days to two or three weeks.
A Plea from Fr. John: Let us know.
Because of the current HIPAA regulations,
hospitals and care centers will not release information about patients. We have
NO way of knowing if you or a loved one has been hospitalized. Please,
please call the parish office (607-748-8118) or Fr. John directly (607-760-8854), if you or a member of your
family is in the hospital. We want to know so we can pray for you and so we can
visit and support you during this difficult time. Thank you. |

Eucharistic Visitations
We are looking for people to minister to our parishioners who are no longer able to be with us for worship.
Fr. John will arrange to train you at your convenience. Please
contact Karen Cahill if you find yourself drawn to this work - it is very
rewarding. (785-2173)
Circumstances change and you may need someone to bring you
communion for a little while as you recuperate from surgery or treatment. If
you would like a pastoral visitor please contact the Parish Office and we will
take your information. We want to know and we want to visit! Call us
at 748-8118.
Finally, if you or a loved one is in the hospital please
contact the parish office to let us know. We know the hospitals take the
information upon admitting, but it often takes them two to three days to
relay it on to us (if at all.) More times than you can imagine, the person
has already gone home! Please, please let us know-748-8118. |

A gentle reminder
on
St. Paul’s Building Use Policy
In order to avoid scheduling conflicts and to facilitate information sharing
about meetings, we will be keeping a calendar of events and the rooms reserved.
If you are planning a meeting and will be using a room in the Christian
Education building or the Church you must fill out a reservation slip and
turn it in to the office. We also need to know who is here and when for
insurance and janitorial purposes. We are very sorry but we cannot guarantee a
space for your meeting if we do not know about it. Groups using the facility
from outside our parish must fill out a "Building Use" form, available in the
office prior to the event. Reservation slips will be kept on the door of the
office for your use.

Reminder for the Winter Months:
Our snow day policy is simple: if the Union-Endicott Schools are closed,
so are we.
If it is a Wednesday, the 9:30 A.M. Holy Eucharist and
Healing service will be canceled. Be safe during the months of ice and snow.
