St. Paul’s Building Use Policy

In order to avoid scheduling conflicts and to facilitate information sharing about meetings, we will be keeping a calendar of events and the rooms reserved. If you are planning a meeting and will be using a room in the Christian Education building or the Church you must fill out a reservation slip and turn it in to the office. We also need to know who is here and when for insurance and janitorial purposes. We are very sorry but we cannot guarantee a space for your meeting if we do not know about it. Groups using the facility from outside our parish must fill out a "Building Use" form, available in the office prior to the event. Reservation slips will be kept on the door of the office for your use

Sick List prayer Policy

The "Sick List", now called the "Prayer List", is a list of people who need our prayers either because they are ill or for other reasons. This list is published in the weekly Church Bulletin. To add someone to the list, call the office and give your name and the name of the person you wish to add.
When possible, please make sure the person WANTS his or her name made public. We need both your name and their name so we have a record of the request and so we would know who to call if more information is needed.
Second, the date of your call is noted and, at the end of one month, the person is removed from the list. At that time, you may call the office to keep the person on for another month.

A Plea from your Rector: Let us know.

Because of the current HIPAA regulations, hospitals and care centers will not release information about patients. We have NO way of knowing if you or a loved one has been hospitalized. Please, please call the parish office or the rector directly if you or a member of your family is in the hospital. We want to know so we can pray for you and so we can visit and support you during this difficult time. Thank you.

We are looking for people to minister to our parishioners who are no longer able to be with us for worship. Rev. Susanna will train you at your convenience. Please contact Karen Cahill if you find yourself drawn to this work-it is very rewarding. (785-2173)
Circumstances change and you may need someone to bring you communion for a little while as you recuperate from surgery or treatment. If you need a pastoral visitor please contact the Parish Office and we will take your information. We want to know and we want to visit! Call us at 748-8118.
Finally, if you or a loved one is in the hospital please contact the parish office to let us know. We know the hospitals take the information upon admitting, but it often takes them two to three days to relay it on to us (if at all.) More times than you can imagine, the person has already gone home! Please, please let us know-748-8118.

Please remember that all announcements, print or spoken must be in the office no later than Wednesday of the preceding week. Epistle announcements and articles must be e-mailed to the parish office before the third Sunday of the month-stpaulschurch@stny.rr.com. (The Epistle is generally published the last week of the month.)
